Well I think it's finally hit me...I'm exhausted. Last week I started feeling it and it just didn't go away. I went cross country skiing and felt like I couldn't move the next day. Then my 3 day trip for work was trying for sure. And the steps in this house! ugh. I guess I'm just gonna have to give in to it soon and let myself just be a couch potato!
I have one more 3 day trip starting on Friday..then I'm on vacation so that should help. Doc still says that I'm tolerating the Chemo well. I had my 11th treatment today and we are shooting for 24. Hope everybody is doing well! Love, Laura

Hey girl, I got my computer back.. pretty happy about that! You need to give that little body of yours a rest. Hell I'm a couch potatoe and not even going through Chemo for gosh sakes and I'm good with it. Of course you are tougher than the average!!!!:)XOXOXO The other Laura
ReplyDeleteHeck yeah, Laura. Take it easy!! Put your feet up, relax. Naps are awesome, and underrated. Rest will help you out in all sorts of ways. You are loved, and missed, greatly. My best, Gabe.
ReplyDeleteGood for you to realize that you must take it easy. Naps are hard to learn to do, but try it. Take care of yourself. You are doing great.

Hi Laura, Sorry to hear this "thing" caught up with you. If it's hard for you to "nap" try to get interested in a good book, prop your feet up and enjoy!!! You have a good reason to do this without feeling a bit guilty!! And-----there will be an end to this feeling of tiredness and you WILL recover!! And when you reach that point, you will appreciate you life more than ever. I know this for sure because I have seen how it affected Susie and your "Ma". Just look at them go now!!! So hang right in there!
ReplyDeleteLove You Aunt Marian
Maybe you just need to go on some short walks with Daisy instead of cross country sking right now. Or go to the workout place and they can recommend some more appropriate exercises for your condition that will keep your strength up. When you get stronger, and you will, then you can pick up more active stuff. Hang in there sweetheart you are doing just great and I am so proud of you! Love ya gobs.......Aunt Sandy
ReplyDeleteHi Princess - I hate to hear that things aren't going as well as they were. You looked great at Aunt Ssndy's Christmas. It was soooooo good to see you. I agree with Aunt Sandy maybe you should do something a little less stressful than cross country skiing. I would love to try that sometime. I miss you and think about you all the time.
ReplyDeleteLove ya, Aunt Sherry
Hey there chica!!
ReplyDeleteJust sit back and relax..Think about it..You are almost halfway through.
Don't try to push yourself too hard..The body needs rest to heal.
Sorry I missed you x-mas..I was not aware that you would be in town, I would have loved to seen you.
Always thinking of you !! Hugs!

Laura-
ReplyDeleteWhat?? You went skiing? Lady take a load off relax, rest and relax some more. You are such an inspiration you deserve to just be able to sit and do nothing. I think about you everyday and I just wanted to let you know how much I miss working with you. I still get all happy when I remember that I got to give you a hug last time you came through SLC. Keep your chin up and TAKE A NAP!!

Laura, how I missed our daily chats when we were away cruising. I know you can beat this thing and am sure you have that great positive attitude to do it. Keep exercising (although think about shortening it a bit) and make sure you get your rest too. Love you so much my super fantastic daughter. Ma
ReplyDeleteHey Laura,
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about you lately. I hope you are still tolerating your therapy well (or as well as can be hoped). Take care of yourself and try and enjoy the slower pace.
